At Friesen Electric we have Variable Frequency Drive motor controls available with or without the
AC motor that they are designed to control. These Variable Frequency Drives provide you with
complete control over a three phase electric motor. With this Variable Frequency Drive you can
control the speed of the motor and the direction it turns. The Variable Frequency Drive also
provides you with motor overload protection and a display that will allow you to know the speed
of the motor. When using the smaller Variable Frequency Drives only single phase power is
required because the Variable Frequency Drive acts as a phase converter which is necessary to
control the three phase motor they are designed to operate. Yes, you can have the Variable speed
